Past Wrongs, Future Right?  A Neighbors In Memory Event! (April 2018)

A screening and panel discussion on Armenian-Turkish relations took place on April 11, 2018 at the Capitol Theatre in Arlington, Massachusetts. Documentarian Gonca Sönmez-Poole screened three short videos clips and hosted a diverse panel of Turkish and Armenian community members based in and around Boston.

This is the video recording of a panel that took place on March 30, 2015 at Framingham State University in Massachusetts. Titled “A Wound too Deep to Heal: The Armenian Genocide at 100,” the event was organized by FSU professor Kaan Ağartan with panelists appearing in the following order: Dr. Pamela Steiner, Harry Parsekian, Gonca Sönmez-Poole, Paula Parnagian. The two-hour session took place in a fully-packed room, with plenty of time for questions and answers.
